I have only two words: Naked. Catman.
[The Six are in Hell and have learned that no matter what they do they will end up here eventually.]
Bane: But I am a righteous man. I’m not like them. I live by a code. A code of honor.
Ragdoll: And you think that saves you, Mr. Bane? We use men of honor like landfill for our compost heaps.
Ragdoll: I’m sorry, it’s not my doing. That code has been in place for a good number of centuries, I’m afraid.
Bane: But—I am a righteous man.

Rereading this arc and becoming painfully aware what a huge loss this will be. I still can’t quite believe that the Six are no more, nearly the whole team was scrapped and the remainder renamed ‘Suicide Squad’ with a nearly naked Harley on the front.
And that, while Bane will be a villain in TDKR, he may not be like this. And his adorable wonderful surrogate father relationship with Scandal may suddenly be undone.
And the possibility of a Scandal cameo in TDKR? Yeah. Right.

I’ve been working on a series of DC character shoes for a project for non-comic nerd types, so I’d only been doing the ‘big’ characters (Supes, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern). But this afternoon I realised that I had some extra BoP issues, and got very excited at the idea that I could make some Oracle and Black Canary shoes! I can’t draw, but considering everything that’s gone on in the past week, I wanted to do something for the character I love so much. They’re not dry yet, and not quite finished, but here we are! You can see more angles if you click the picture.
Note: They’re a size 6 and I’m a size 10, so eventually I’m going to be looking to unload them on someone…
God, I wish I was a size 6!
